Emergency Shelters: The State of Hawai`i has contracted with various organizations to provide emergency shelters. Staff at shelter facilities help develop housing plans. Often people need to come from unsheltered situations to obtain emergency shelter. However, please check with individual shelters for more information. - Allows for short stays on site (approximately 5 days). Then guest will need to decide if he/she wants to go to an emergency shelter.
- Located at Ke`ehi Lagoon in Honolulu.
