SHELTER INFORMATION

Emergency Shelters:  The State of Hawai`i has contracted with various organizations to provide emergency shelters.  Staff at shelter facilities help develop housing plans.  However, please check with individual shelters for more information.  Click here for contact information and updated daily vacancy count.  

Homeless Outreach and Navigation for Unsheltered Persons (HONU)
  • Navigational site to other longer-term shelter and housing options.
  • Allows for short stays on site (approximately 5 days).  Then guest will need to decide if he/she wants to go to an emergency shelter.
  • Locations change.  Currently, HONU is located at Oneula Beach Park in Ewa Beach.
