Housing Discrimination Test Coordinator - Honolulu Office

Position: Housing Discrimination Test Coordinator – Responsibilities include investigation of housing discrimination; tester recruitment, training, and coordination; preparation of reports and maintenance of test files. Attention to detail and organization skills a must. Must have ability to work successfully with others. Interest in civil rights a plus. Great entry level job for someone with a passion for fairness, who is detail oriented, and who likes to work with people.
All candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
Compensation: $17.50 - $23.42 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits package includes, medical and dental insurance, 401K match, life insurance, long term care insurance, long term disability insurance. - Undergraduate degree preferred. Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or equivalent experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer proficiency required.
- Ability to work directly and collaboratively with diverse persons and programs found in a multi-faceted agency and community required.
- Able to work under pressure in an empathetic and professional manner required.
- Experience working to support and recruit volunteers beneficial, but not required
- Knowledge of housing discrimination helpful, but not required. Legal Aid is willing to train.
