Stars of Hope Fundraiser

The Hata Foundation has generously offered to donate half of the proceeds from ticket sales (minus event costs and educational funds*) from the inaugural "Stars of Hope" dinner on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at The Pacific Club in Honolulu.  They will also be honoring two of our pro bono attorneys, Mihoko Ito and Rodney Ching, in addition to our very own family attorney, Stephen Duck as legal heroes who have continuously gone above and beyond to help countless people, in need of legal services.

The evening (5:30pm-9:00pm) will be hosted by Senator Glenn Wakai and feature dinner, no host cocktails, entertainment and a silent auction.  The stories of two amazing children Skylar Soares and James Remigio will be shared as they are presented with educational funds to honor their resiliency in overcoming seemingly insurmountable childhood challenges.

The Hata Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity status advocacy organization founded by Elizabeth Hata-Watanabe.  Their primary focus is to strengthen and support Hawaii’s families by attempting to meet their immediate needs through motivating, educating and inspiring families.  It is their hope that together with Legal Aid, we can continue to provide HOPE to Hawaii’s keiki and their families.

Individual tickets are $100.  Tables of 10 seats are $1,000.  Sponsorship Tables include seating for 10, program recognition, and wine service are $2,000.  CLICK HERE for a registration form.
